Whitfield Farm Cottage is one mile west of Dorchester on an unclassified Roman road that links the town with the village of Bradford Peverell. We can be reached from the village (approx 1.5 miles) by those travelling from the Yeovil direction, but are more easily found by approaching from Dorchester.

From the roundabout at the top of the town, drive west towards Bridport on the B3150 for about 50 yards before turning right into Poundbury Road, immediately before you reach The Keep (the Devonshire & Dorset Regimental Museum). Drive for exactly one mile and, after crossing over a bridge, take the second turning on the right at the bottom of the hill, where you see our house sign – see photograph. The cottage is thatched and set back 75 yards from the road. (Please ignore the first turning on the right.)
